First Coast School of Music Policies

TUITION PAYMENTS: Tuition is due on the first lesson date of each month. There is a $25 late fee for payments received after the 15th of the month.

MAKEUP LESSONS: Since we pay our instructors for all scheduled lessons, we require a 24-hour notice of your absence to provide a makeup lesson. Makeup lessons must be scheduled within 2 weeks of the missed lesson. Scheduled makeup lessons cannot be rescheduled.

SICK POLICY: If you or your student is sick/contagious on their lesson day, please contact the school as early as possible, but no later than noon. This will ensure that your child can take a makeup lesson at a future date at no charge. WE DO NOT WANT STUDENTS AT THE SCHOOL IF THEY ARE SICK. Thank you so much for your cooperation.

VACATIONS: Please give the school written notice of two weeks or more if lessons will be missed due to scheduled vacations. NOTE: If the vacation is longer than two consecutive weeks, you may “hold” the lesson time for a fee.

WITHDRAWAL: If you or your student elects to withdraw from lessons, you agree to give the school one month written notice with pay before withdrawing.
